Catalog Information

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Media

Visitors may only upload media to the site via a form to request a quote for products. We recommend not uploading images. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We have two contact forms, one for general contact to the company and one to request quotes for products. We keep contact form submissions stored on our website for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you submit a quote request or a contact form, that information may be stored indefinitely for customer service purposes.

We do not share or use any of the above mentioned information with any third-party providers.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. We rely on the data breach procedures of our hosting company. In the event of malware, our hosting company will take action to remove the malware and will alert us of the intrusion. At that time we would post a news article and or alert you, the user of the breach so you can be aware.

We receive data from Google regarding our on-site analytics.

Google Web Fonts

For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

We use no automation services to qualify leads, or disqualify leads. All user data that is sent through contact forms comes directly to Magic Industries.
